SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF OFFICE EQUIPMENT

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that was published in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) issue no. 731, 31^st July, 2008 and later undated in UNDB issue no. 786 on 16 November 2010.

2. The Royal Government of Cambodia has received joint funding from the International Development Association along with other multilateral and bilateral donors including  from  UNFA, UNICEF,DFID-UK and AusAID (jointly referred to as "Pooled Fund") toward the cost of the Second Health Sector Support Program (HSSP2), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds to payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Office Equipment:

The Royal Government of Cambodia represented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance has appointedCharles Kendall & Partners (CKP) as Procurement Agents for selected World Bank funded projects in Cambodia. The CKP acting for and on behalf of the Ministry of Health (MoH), now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Office Equipment.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, Revised October 2006 and is open toall bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.

5. Interested eligible biddersmay obtain further information from CKP and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address in point 11 (a) below from 25 January 2012 to 12 March 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Cambodia Standard Time).

6. Qualifications requirement is provided in the Section II of these bidding documents. A margin of preference shall be applied for Goods offered in the Bid are domestically manufactured goods. Additional information is provided in the bidding document.

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 50.00.  The method of payment will be either by cash or transfer to the following account:

For those who request, the bidding document can be sent by courier, if so requested, upon confirmation of payment in above mentioned account of non-refundable fee of USD 50.00 and additional courier fee of USD 50.00. The Bidders must purchase the bidding document directly from Charles Kendall & Partners (CKP), otherwise the Bid will not be accepted. In the event has difficulty to purchase the bidding document the interested Bidders may contact inwriting to:

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10.00 a.m. on 13 March 2012. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

9. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives, who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10.00 a.m. on 13 March 2012. Interested public/NGO/Civil societies may also attend the bid opening.

10. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
