1.The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Department of Roads has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strategic Road Connectivity & Trade Development Project (SRCTIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract of following works:

2. The Department of Roads, Development Cooperation Implementation Division (DCID), Strategic Road Connectivity & Trade Development Project (SRCTIP) invites sealed Proposals from the eligible Proposers for the above contracts.
3. The procurement will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Proposals (RFP) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, July 2016, revised September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Proposers.
4. Interested Eligible Proposers may obtain further information from the Department of Roads, Development Cooperation Implementation Division (DCID), Strategic Road Connectivity & Trade Development Project (SRCTIP), Babarmahal, Kathmandu, email: dorfcb@dor.gov.np and inspect the RFP Document during office hours at the address given below. Interested proposers, registered in the e-GP portal of Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) may download the RFP document from http://www.bolpatra.gov.np after login and for submitting the RFP documents electronically, a nonrefundable fee of NPR 20000.00 or equivalent, shall be deposited as specified in RFP document. In addition, electronic scanned copy (.pdf format) of the bank deposit voucher/cash receipt should also be submitted along with the electronic proposal submission files. The method of payment will be direct deposit to the following account.

5. A single-stage, two envelope RFP process will be used, and the Proposal will consist of (i) the Technical Part, without any reference to prices; and (ii) the Financial Part, as detailed in the RFP Document.
6. The Proposal, both the Technical Part and the Financial Part, must be submitted electronically through the e-GP Portal on or before 12.00 hours (Nepal Standard Time) , 1st June, 2025. Detailed procedures for electronic submission is provided in the RFP Document. Late Proposals will be rejected. The Technical Part of the Proposals will be publicly opened in the presence of the Proposers’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 12.15 hours (Nepal Standard Time), 1st June 2025. The Financial Part of the proposal shall remain unopened in the e-GP portal. The Financial Part shall be opened on the date and time as notified to the proposers after the evaluation of Technical Part.
7. All Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Security as stated in paragraph 1 above.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful Proposer’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the RFP document.”
